Tóm tắt

Các khuyến cáo hiện nay nhấn mạnh dự phòng bệnh tim mạch dựa trên can thiệp lối sống và điều trị hạ lipid máu. Trong đó, mục tiêu điều trị hạ LDL-C có xu hướng ngày càng nghiêm ngặt. Thậm chí khuyến cáo rối loạn lipid máu năm 2019 của Hội Tim mạch Châu Âu/Hội Xơ vữa động mạch Châu Âu đề xuất mức LDL-C cần đạt <55,<70 và <116 mg/dL tương ứng với nguy cơ tim mạch cao, trung bình và thấp. Nói chung tiếp cận hiện nay trong quản lý bệnh lý tim mạch sử dụng các liệu pháp hạ cholesterol một cách an toàn, hiệu quả và đạt mức LDL-C mục tiêu thấp hơn để giảm nguy cơ tim mạch.
